ROMANTIC ROAD (2017)
London lawyer and his wife re-define later life by motoring across rural India in their battered 1936 Rolls Royce, falling into company with tea-wallahs and maharajahs, dodging tribal conflicts and battling with border-officials to get to a human rights festival in Bangladesh.
ICE DISTRICT (2016)
ICE DISTRICT tells the story of at-risk youth who inhabit the downtown core of Edmonton, a working class oil-rich city in the prairies of northern Canada. The year is 2015 and a $400 Million ice-hockey rink threatens the livelihood of hundreds. Seen through the eyes of the youth of iHuman - a non-profit risk help centre established to rehabilitate kids via art creation. The cruel Irony of the arena development being called “Ice” District, the street name for Crystal Meth, the most common drug used by homeless kids, shows a lack of sensitivity put into the project. During this journey we witness the community come together to help iHuman build a new facility so it can help more kids find safety and stability in a changing city.
Who are these kids and where will they go?
